The scope
Urban Utilities (part of Queensland Urban Utilities) operates water and sewerage infrastructure for a large part of Brisbane and surrounds. For a pump station to be running sub-spec is a maintenance priority. We were called in to CCTV investigate the stormwater lines leading to the pump area to identify what was feeding into the pump and causing blockages.
What we did
- CCTV survey of the stormwater approach lines to the pump area.
- Captured all debris and condition data upstream of the pump.
- Reported back to Urban Utilities with the findings for their own crew to action.
What this means for homeowners
